From beers to burgers and everything in between, The Shed is a place where everyone feels like family.

The Shed Bar & Cafe’, traditionally known as The Tobacco Shed, is a family owned business in Windsor, CT. To many, it has been a staple in the town for over 45 years. In 2003, the bar tragically burned down and unfortunately had to start over from the foundation up. Seeing one of the first bar’s in town demolished left a hole in its space, and hole in the hearts of the many patrons who’ve made memories here over the years. We were determined to rebuild our business, but this time, it would be better than ever.

The Shed’s doors reopened on the 4th of July in 2006, freshly painted with custom woodwork throughout. Our new space was bright and inviting and was ultimately a blessing for a new generation of customers. As time has passed, we’ve gone from a friendly neighborhood bar, to a place for food, live music, game nights, and above all, fun.

We hope your next visit to Windsor, will include a stop at The Shed for a bite to eat or a cold beer. The owners, a brother-sister duo, are always happy to meet our new customers and make everyone feel like family!
